The project period is from February 2019 to February 2023.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project has been approved in the priority subject area &#8220;Improving the production and supply chain of Estonian plant protein&#8221;. The aim of the cluster is to valorize protein-rich crops and process them into value-added products, for which four innovation activities are planned:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; crop selection and suitability for protein isolation;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; isolation, concentration and characterization of plant proteins;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; development of extrusion technology for plant proteins;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; development of technology for fermented plant milks.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cluster has 12 members who are agricultural producers and processors and two research and development partners.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NGO Innovation Cluster for Plant Proteins is implementing a cooperation and research and development project, for which we have received support from the measure \u201cInnovation Cluster\u201d under the \u201cEstonian Rural Development Plan for 2014\u20132020\u201d.
